La Vida Family Carnival

We spent yesterday afternoon at the carnival. Bouncers, games, popcorn, ice-cream, face-painting, a puppet show and even goldfish!
This was a really fun game but it got me dizzy after awhile. We won prizes though.
It was a great day!

Self-expression is out! Child labour is in!

Mummy and Daddy did not appreciate what Caleb and I had done to the pillar. I guess those pretty stamps should only be used on paper.
Good news: no application of the naughty stick.
Bad news: over an hour of child labour with scrub in one hand n jif in the other.
Result:Walls all clean now.

My NEW look.

Yesterday, Mummy pulled my tooth out.
It was not painful when Mummy pulled it out but there was a lot of blood.
Now when I smile, I look funny.
I look like Aunty Gaby when she was 4 years old.
Because the two teeth are missing, it feels like I have bubble gum in my mouth.

I Ran the Race that Cares!

08.08.10
This morning, I took part in the Charity Fun Run. Many kind people helped me and I was able to raise almost $100 for charity.
I woke up about 5:30am and shared a banana with Mummy.

The start and finish line is behind me. I couldn't wear the blue and green shirt cos it was TOO big for me.

Daddy left earlier cos he ran the 10.5km.
Mummy and I did the 2.5km Fun Run.

I saw so many people during the run. A few of them were on wheelchairs, some were blindfolded and a few in costumes. I got a chance to take a picture with an ELEPHANT and .....

a SPACEMAN who looked like Buzz Lightyear but everyone else called him the Storm Trooper.

Got my certificate. I was really tired after the whole thing but was so happy and proud of myself.

Adelaide in June (Part 3)

In Adelaide, we got a chance to meet our cousin Noah for the very first time.
He is a good boy.
I'm reading him a story.

Caleb quite likes puzzles and we bought a few.
He's also very good at it.
Uncle Del and Caleb decided to have a race and see who could complete a puzzle the fastest.

Caleb won...
I wasn't surprised but Uncle Del was.
I did say he was very good at it.

We had a wonderful 14 days in Australia with family.
I hope to go back again soon.

Adelaide in June (Part 2)

Lil' piggies everywhere..

Largest Rocking Horse.
I went up with Mummy, Che-che Chloe and Uncle Del.
We had to climb ladders right to the top and back down again.
We were really high up.
Can you see my little head?

And here's the baby rocking horse :D

Went to the Beach House at Glenelg. Got on a ferris wheel and carousel. Spent most of our time in the jungle gym and I even got my face painted. I chose the design myself.

Adelaide in June (Part 1)

Having lots of fun in Glenelg (i think that's how you spell it).
We walked on the jetty but not all the way cos it was too cold. Brrr...

.Railway Museum.
What a treat for me.
I was terrified at first cos the trains were SOO BIG!

This was a huge (?) miniature town with trains chugging everywhere in and out of tunnels.

2 tickets please?

Brisbane in June

We spent our last school holidays in Australia.
We met up with Aunty Bee and stayed in a beautiful apartment.
It was cold but we loved it!

Mummy made sure our homework was done even though we were supposed to be on holiday..

At the Australia Zoo.
Look I'm as tall as the kangaroo!

I got to ride on a pony. Yippee!

MOVIE WORLD!!!!
We saw a 4-D Shrek Show. It was quite scary and really dark.

I got to ride on a train. I was soooo EXCITED!

I didn't want to take a picture with Shrek or Bugs Bunny but Tweety Bird is ok cos she's so cute.

Truly Daddy's Little Girl

My friend at ballet got a phone and I asked Mummy if I could get one as well. Mummy didn't say yes or no. She just asked if I had the money to pay for it. I told her I'd check but she's pretty sure it's not enough. Anyway, I'm a resourceful kind of girl and decided I'd make my own phone! So, here's my creation! I made a matching one for Aunty Gaby as well. It only costs $1. You can use it to make phone calls, send messages and take pictures just like Mummy's.

(Note from Mummy: Wonder if NOKIA is recruiting?)

And it all begins...

More on the cheeky going-ons of the lil'berries..

2 against 1.... Daddy says I should just get used to it :(

Chloe's Recipe for Pizza - an actual entry by Chloe herself

this is my recipe for our pizza.

we need dough and cheese and tomato sauce and then it's a pizza.the end .

(Guess those red dotted lines help after all)

Fearful yet co-operative ...

BEFORE - I was so afraid that the dentist would inject my teeth.

AFTER - .... and he did :( It was very painful!

Here it is! My tooth is very long and sharp.
I hope I won't have to do this again but if I do, then I will try not to cry. When my friends get their teeth pulled out, I'm sure they will also cry.

It's really painful... really.

Subtle Hints .. Read between the lines..

A short story written by Chloe Keasberry a day before her visit to the dentist.
She had to have a tooth extracted because her permanent teeth needed the space.
I think she's trying to tell me something :)

Tai-Po

Tai-Po doesn't live in Po-po's house anymore.
Daddy told me that she has gone to Heaven.
I asked him who took her there. Mummy said maybe an angel.
Now that you're in Heaven, Tai-po, you don't have to stay in bed or in your wheelchair anymore.
That was really boring, wasn't it?
I know that you are having more fun now cause you are in Heaven with Jesus.

March 18th, 2010 - Milestone!

Lost my 1st Tooth! Didn't hurt at all.
It happened in school - last day of term.
I was so excited I called Mummy once I got home.

Look! It's soooo small.
I'm going to keep it for the Tooth Fairy.
Do you know what a Tooth Fairy does with teeth?
The Tooth Fairy EATS it. Then it makes a shiny coin out of milk and gives that coin to you!

Evening Walks

Where we live, it's really nice to take a walk, run or ride our bikes.
Lately, Cayley has been joining us so we make sure we hold onto her and take care of her.

But Mummy is always nearby... in case we get distracted...
