My new found superpower!

It started several months ago - these urges. It's like I've always had this power but just didn't know how to use it. In secrecy, I began to practice my power - roughly when I was about 9 or 10 months. I must say I was disappointed time and time again. I felt like I was stuck. It just wasn't working!
Then suddenly, about 2 weeks before my 1st birthday, it happened!
You know, like Forrest Gump, when he just stood up and then ran and ran and ran..
Yup! I just stood up and took those baby steps! Left then right.. and the rest is history.
My new found superpower is finally complete - true mobility! It's official - I can walk.

Daddy's Girl - Mummy's Boy

The moment I (Chloe) was born, the nurses (on the other end) said "100% photocopy of the father." My mummy looked at me and said "Oh.. so Chinese" and agreed with the nurses.

When I (Caleb) was born, my mummy prayed, "Please Lord, let one of them look like me." After the nurses gave me to mummy, she looked at my face - my eyes and my nose, in particular. Mummy's verdict: YES!! My eyes and my nose! This one looks like me!

Most people have said that it is very good if the daughter looks like the father and the son looks like the mother. We're not sure why.

But mummy and daddy pretty much agree that I (Chloe) look like daddy but can be really stubborn like mummy while I (Caleb) look like mummy but is a cool and relaxed dude just like daddy. (I think many will agree ;-P)

My Debut as Flowergirl - by Chloe.

This is the moment I've been talking about for sooooo long.
My very first appearance as flowergirl at my Aunty Flo's wedding.
My dress was tailor-made.
Popo bought my shoes from Miri and Mummy got my butterfly headband from The Mall.
I only had ONE practice with the basket.
On the real day, I walked confidently in front of sooo many people and just copied what my Aunty Gaby did.
(I didn't know we could throw flowers on the church floor)
I threw the flower petals but made sure not to step on them. It was quite difficult walking around them.

My next appearance will be in December for Uncle Win & Aunty Gee's wedding. Yay!

It's gotta TRUE! - by Caleb

Look at what I got! Two of the same shirts!
One for now and another for when I'm bigger.
Hey man, if you got it, flaunt it!
(Thank you to whoever got me these shirts. You said it like it is.)

Opening Presents - by Chloe & Caleb

These are our happy faces ...
- ready to attack ribbons, wrapping paper and those stubborn sticky cello-tape.

(Caleb) As I am only ON
E year old, I haven't quite mastered the look yet. But my Che-Che Chloe (WOW!) look at her. She's grinning from ear to ear. I can almost see the years of experience on her face. Yup! All of almost 3 whole years! My Che-Che - the master!

(Chloe) I must agree with Caleb. He has much to learn from me. I know my way around those pesky wrapping papers. My chubby little fingers have become accustomed to those tiny gaps between cello-tapes. I am also proud to add that my ripping technique is 100% effective. Not only
that, I can also tell which presents to open first (usually the bigger ones) and which ones to start playing (ALWAYS ALWAYS start with the noisiest toy). Carepy stick around with me and I promise you, by your next birthday, you'll be doing this on your own!
