The power of PINK/Popular Girl?

I look forward to my Fridays cos I get to go swimming and see my friends!!
I've been going for swimming lessons since I was 2. There has been progress.
But as a girl with strong convictions (other people may call it stubborn), there are just some things I refuse to do.
However.... TODAY I truly surprised everyone. I went underwater! No coaxing, bribing, etc. My own free will. What did it take? A circular pink toy which I had to grab underwater and Uncle Darryl. Unfortunately, this special moment was not caught on camera.
What Mummy did capture was of me doing my small, big and fast kicks. I'm so popular! The teacher keeps calling my name 'Chloe, blow your bubbles. Chloe, Chloe..' (Hmm.. wonder if I'll be this popular when I start school next year? I can see it now 'Chloe, start painting. Chloe, take out your books. Chloe, look at the board.' Mummy will be so proud.)

That FIRST Movie

Long overdue.
My first movie at the cinema. Yup! About the mouse that can cook!
Set in France but the mouse is American.
It was very scary at first 'cos some other loud and scary movie was showing in the beginning. I sat on Popo's lap and held onto her so tightly.
I wasn't afraid of the dark but it was really loud in there.
I was very very quiet throughout the whole movie. But I enjoyed it.
At the end of the movie, Mummy asked if I'd like to watch a movie at the cinema again. I said yes but next time I'm bringing my Barbie DVDs.

Daddy's Home!!

Well, it's been over a week really since Papa has come home. When he arrived at the doorstep, I ran out and shouted "PAPA! PAPA!" Then we went for lunch at Papa's favourite place - FDL.
I didn't get to see the goods (my goods) till that night.

What did I get?
A Barbie doll, books and 2 beautiful gowns for Uncle Del's wedding. ( I have to admit .. I'm such a poser!!)

























What did Caleb get?
A pair of sneakers. (That's it... well, you know there's just so much more to get lil' girls like me. Mummy did get on Papa's case though.)






















It's been great to have Papa back home.

Days 5,6,7 and 8 Without Papa

Papa's coming back tomorrow!! Yippee! I'm getting a new Barbie! Yay!

Nothing major over the past few days. Short visits to The Mall, got a brand new book - Princess Ariel, had Strawberry gelato (yummy!!) and Caleb piggin out on Mummy's apple crumble cake (Caleb will eat just about anything!)

Best thing today - 2 DVDs: Barbie 'Princess of the Sea' and Cinderella III 'A Twisted Tale'. They were great!!! I didn't take my afternoon nap today. Instead, I just sat and watched my DVDs! Sigh... wonderful!

Day 4 Without Papa

The day started early. Maybe too early. Mummy decided to bring us to The Mall. Nothing's open at 10am except for the Food Court. So we just had a hot drink. I had a small cup of Milo. Very hot!

After what felt like forever, the shops began to open up. We had a great time at the Uniarcade. It was our very FIRST time even for Mummy. We played 'Hit the Mice' and many of the mobile toys. I would love to go there again soon. Papa, please bring us when you come back.
